- God pardon sin! Wast thou with Rosaline?
- With Rosaline, my ghostly father? No,
- I have forgot that name and that name's woe.
Nobody knows where Romeo has been and people suspect that he has been chasing Rosaline. When Romeo is finally found, Friar Lawrence, the minister asks where he has been. Romeo is so surprised that everybody thinks he is with Rosaline because he has completely forgot about her. It is very interesting that after "being in love" with Rosaline, Romeo's feelings just disappear and all of a sudden he has fallen in love with somebody else.
