Prompt B
Paris- Do you believe that the death of Juliet is what caused you to fight with Romeo so quickly?
Romeo- Was it the same for you? Did believing that your wife was dead cause you to make rash decisions including that of fighting and killing Paris?
Friar Lawrence- Do you believe that if you had not married Romeo & Juliet that all would be better or do you believe the two houses coming together was worth it?
Juliet- If you had known that so many people would have died through this plan would you still have done it or would you have married Paris?
Lord Capulet- Do you feel responsible for all these deaths considering you were forcing Juliet to marry Paris?

Act 3 Scene 5: The Fickle Nurse
Prompt C
- "Romeo is banished, and all the world to nothing
- That he dares ne'er come back to challenge you,
- Or if he do, it needs must be by stealth.
- Then, since the case so stands as now it doth,
- I think it best you married with the County,"
I liked this quote because it shows character development as the story continued. The nurse was almost always supported Romeo and Juliet's relationship but now she sees a better opportunity for Juliet. I think that this is a real turning point in the play that makes it seem far more fictitious than real. A sensible person in this situation would have gotten their marriage with Romeo annulled and married Paris. This is why this play is thought of to be one of the best love stories. At a turning point where one would normally take one path, Romeo and Juliet take the other.

Act 2 Scene 6: The Secret Wedding
Prompt D\
This monarch butterfly represents the love shared between Romeo and Juliet. A monarch butterfly has beautiful colors and symmetrical wings which draws many people to them. However the monarch butterfly is very poisonous much like Romeo and Juliet's relationship. Even though it may seem beautiful at the moment, it is poisonous and cause harm to many people around them.

Act 2 Scene 4: Rosaline is so Last Year
Prompt C:
"Nay, if our wits run the wild-goose chase,
I am done, for thou hast more of the wild goose
"Nay, if our wits run the wild-goose chase,
I am done, for thou hast more of the wild goose
in one of thy wits than I am sure I have in
my whole five. Was I with you there for the goose?"
my whole five. Was I with you there for the goose?"
I chose this quote because it shows how love has changed Romeo. Mercutio is stating that Romeo is far more of a goose than he is because he is blinded by the foolishness of love. I think that this is accurate as Romeo has been acting aloof yet depressed at the same time while he was in love with Rosaline, but now that he is in love with Juliet he is acting care free and foolish. This quote really encompasses Romeo's actions while in love with Juliet, so far.

Act 2 Scene 2- Romeo Develops a Stalking Issue
Prompt E
Romeo and Juliet have met each other just earlier that night and yet Romeo feels the need to stalk her back to her own house. Juliet then proceeds to not be mad about the endeavor but encourage this kind of behavior and then they talk about possibly getting married. I think that this whole relationship is based off of Romeo's subconscious need to get over Rosaline and Juliet's wanting to not be forced into a relationship with Paris. They've just met each other earlier that night and yet the idea of being married to the enemy is so taboo and exciting that it is immediately enticing to them both. I think that this relationship would not have held out if they both lived for more than the next four days.

Act 1 Scene 2: Peter Can't Read
Prompt B:
Paris-why do you feel the need to marry someone so much younger than yourself?
Capulet- how do you feel knowing that your daughter could marry and have the children of a man who is somewhere around 10-15 years older than your daughter?
Capulet- why do you not just teach Peter to read in order to avoid confusions with letters and party lists?
Peter- why would you invite a random stranger off the streets to come to your master's party? Don't you think that could end up badly?
Romeo- Knowing you are a Montague don't you think Rosaline would be creeped out by seeing you at a Capulet party an think you're stalking her? That is no way to win a girl over!

The Impossible Standards
The Impossible Standards
The one thing that I hate are impossible standards set by those who haven’t achieved them
Every day it seems that something new is stacked on my plate that I need to
accomplish
I find myself instead of wishing for my own success, wishing for the failure of my peers to rise myself
This shouldn’t be how the world works, I shouldn’t want others to fail for me to succeed
We should rely on each other for help and kindness
Not push each other away while waiting for our next report card
Not slounging in a cave waving our accomplishments around for some “god-like”
college recruiter to pick me, pick me, pick me
Please pick me, is what I say every day, and yet it doesn’t make a difference
Make a difference, they say before I can yell out
Yell out that it’s been done, I’ve been left in the dust
By every sleep-deprived valedictorian with a varsity jacket on their shoulder
Because it shouldn’t matter
It really shouldn’t matter the number of my A’s,
What should matter is the number of souls we’ve touched
