Romeo: Of course.. Not why would you ask?
here she comes..
Nurse: want to come over and have much?
Mercutio: why else would you think she would ask you? look at her age and the perfect timing too, what else do you think?
Romeo: I do not have feelings for Rosaline so therefore I could do marriage, you think?
Mercutio: Marriage?! oh yeah sure..

Act, Scene 1: The depression of Romeo

This in how I would explain romeo in act , scene 1. Romeo would be locked in his room since he was depressed that Rosaline didn't love him back and that he couldn't move on, he couldn't even think about moving on.

Lonely

Alone

silently staring at the blank white wall

humming instead of answering

having all the time in the world to focus on college

humm.. 

humm..

humm..

and everything goes away

all the arguing

all the screaming

just so she won’t pay attention

she won’t listen

she doesn’t help us

she’s never here

they JUST don’t care

I’m just a not normal at all..
