This image of a broken chain represent the feud between Romeo and Juliet's families. The rings on the ends are the Capulet and Montague parties, and after their constant fighting, it is eventually enough to break the ties (Romeo and Juliet's love) between the two.

Act 3 Scene 5: Juliet's Dilemma
Prompt E
Romeo and Juliet
The relationship between Romeo and Juliet is very unstable. Both of their houses do not approve of their marriage/relationship, and are now even greater enemies after the recent deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt. However, Romeo and Juliet still manage to find a way to love each other despite their family's grievances. They each believe that the other is their destiny and are both heavily committed to their relationship. When Juliet swears, "Go, counselor. Thou my bosom henceforth shall be twain. I'll go to Friar to know his remedy. If all else fail, myself have power to die," she is saying that she would rather die than to marry Paris and betray Romeo. She believes that their love can last, and that they can eventually be happily together.

Act 3 Scene 1: Trouble in Verona
Prompt F (Mercutio)
Act 3 Scene 1: Mercutio gets in a fight with Tybalt
This reminds me of how my brother and I are always fighting for something that we each individually believe is right. Although there is never bloodshed in our fights it still resembles the fight between Mercutio and Tybalt because we are fighting to get something we want. We never fight with real weapons and are definitely not sworn enemies. However, we sometimes fight to see who is stronger/better which relates to the scene between Mercutio and Tybalt, especially me being Mercutio. Lastly, the characters spectating the scene from the book like Romeo, and the Capulet servants, connects to my life and are my parents watching us fight for nothing.

" This quote shows how Juliet feels the same way towards Romeo as he does she. It shows how they are equally in love and that she is actually willing to leave her family to be with Romeo. She is willing to no longer be a Capulet because of how in love she is with Romeo.

San Francisco
It’s 7 a.m. in San Francisco
giving a cold and wintry feeling.
The bridge is covered in a blanket of fog
appearing slowly as we approach.
The subtle sound of a ferryboat whistles in the background
as faint as a wolf howling from afar.
Seagulls decorate the sky with a bright white,
as seals lay down by the pier.
The welcoming smell of seafood rises on the streets,
combining with the fresh ocean air.
The green fields of a park overflow with families and friends,
enjoying the scenic view of the bay.
San Francisco: Home to the Giants, the Warriors, and the Niners.
Sightseers come from all over the world.
Traveling tourists transit through the Twin Peaks,
explore Alcatraz Island,
and relax at the Ghirardelli Square.
Fireworks explode into the skies,
as glowing embers fall into the ocean.
A place for inspiration and excitement
in the Golden City San Francisco.
