Prompt C
Scene 1.5- Juliet says, "My only love sprung from my only hate! Too early seen unknown and known too late! Prodigious birth of love it is to me that I must must love a loathed enemy. " This line shows how Juliet has fallen in love with Romeo, a Montague and enemy of her family. She explains how she fell in love at first sight, but now is confused about how to feel because he is of a different party. Juliet is wondering how to approach the situation, and whether or not she should be with Romeo.
I enjoy the connections you made and how you talked about the scene. Why do you think they didn't just leave right then instead of making their families think they died?
ReplyDeleteYour analysis is very good and connects to the quote. Do you think that love can be changed just because a person is from a certain family?
ReplyDeleteGood analysis, Juliet was pretty torn apart between loving Romeo or being loyal to her family.
