From the first scene, Romeo is completely torn apart when he is heart broken by his loved one he's only known for a couple days. This picture describes his overall reaction toward rejection as he had been crying and kept distant. For him in the scene, he much rather die than live in agony and pain, much too dramatic for a 16 years old teenager.
