Purposefully Written

There are times when we wander inside of truth.

Take a peek inside the forest of words, see if it’s sooth.

We meet obstacles when we're lost like lies, by which we are bounded,

But there’s reality even when in fiction we’re surrounded.

But then we’re unable to discern between the two,

Because there are some truths we’re unable to consume,

And we think if they’re really true and which is optimism,

Unable to define if they’re lies or realism.

But there is one thing true, that I've come to abide...

I know it is nonfiction when I say there’s some purpose to us being alive,

And that is one thing I’m able to wholly confess from my heart,

This meaning and reason is true and only for us to impart.

And even when on the outside it might not look any different,

It’s special and only with you it fits brilliant.

The last puzzle piece to making you as a person complete,

And only with you will that puzzle piece fit.

Something inside you, it’s your definition.

You earned it with strength, bought it “limited edition.”

A purpose for me and a purpose for you.

This value that razors and fists will never break through.

This purpose surrounds you in walls that protect you,

The same walls that are able to ignore the words that they spit through.

No cannons, no guns, can cause holes in this purpose,

And this meaning is not judged by its look on the surface.

It's unique, not sold ANYWHERE

About which we stay unaware.

And so when we are lost,

We're concerned with its cost

Of this one-of-a-kind reason,

We think deserving it maybe is treason.

But these words can only describe one person

No matter your feelings or current emotion

Lives only for you the individual

And owning it doesn't make you a criminal.

This reason to live, purposefully written by you

For only one person, and that person is you

Made for the YOU alone

For this meaning is only to you known

There are many things without answers on Earth,

We all have had questions, ever since birth

So whenever you're lost, know that one thing is true,

It's that there is a reason for me and all of you
