This image relates to Act 2 Scene 2 because in this scene, Romeo and Juliet talk about how they are committed to each other, and that they decide to get marry. However, Romeo and Juliet probably won't have a happy wedding, unlike the two in the picture, since their love is doomed.
I think that their wedding will, in fact, be happy, but what happens to them later will not. It is important to make a distinction between their fate and their love's fate.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Michael that the wedding will be happy, but they do eventually die. Romeo and Juliet are very happy together, but their families are not. Why did you make the prediction that Romeo and Juliet's wedding will not be happy?
