Before the boys had been suspicious that they were going to be ditched by Romeo for Juliet, which was true. They actually didn't really know the relationship started in the first place since they wanted a new relationship, Juliet, to start after Romeo was so heart broken over Roseline. Romeo was locked up in his room depressed.
