Act 1 Scene 5: A teenage Boy.

Prompt C
"O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright!"
Not only is this line rememberable but it also shows us how Romeo really wants to find a girlfriend.  He comes to the party looking for Rosaline, a girl he had a crush on, and now he is reciting poetry about how this new girl is the most wonderful girl he has ever seen.  Through this line, Romeo proves he is the average teenage boy just going through puberty and figuring out about girls.

  1. I agree, Romeo acts like a stereotypical teenager who over exaggerates his love life

  2. Great way of showing how light headed Romeo is with love. He does act like a child.
