Scene 1.205- Romeo says, "Tut, I have lost myself. I am not here. This is not Romeo. He's some other where." This line shows the effects of being totally in love with Rosaline has on Romeo. His desperation for her causes Romeo to become someone completely different. The quote really shows us the extent to which Romeo has been afflicted by his love. It also foreshadows how much hold love has over Romeo and his actions.
