Prompt C
When Romeo is talking to Benvolio, he says "Tut, I have lost myself. I am not here. This is not Romeo. He's some other where." This line helps show the extent to which Romeo is in love with Rosaline because he no longer feels like he is himself. He clearly does not know very much about love, which is shown by him being changed by someone and not knowing what to do with himself because of it. It explains why he has been shutting himself in his room during the day and always isolating himself. It is very odd that Romeo seems to fall in love so easily.
I agree with your understand of this scene, it is really as if Romeo can't control himself, and is very easily tempted to fall in love according to the past 2 acts we have read.
ReplyDeleteWell why do you think Romeo falls in love so easily?
ReplyDeleteIt is very weird how he falls in love so easily. Why do you think he completely dropped Rosaline after he saw Juliet?
